Acquille Pollard aka Bobby Shmurda took the deal just days before he was set to stand trial for conspiracy in Manhattan Supreme Court.
Bobby Shmurda will spend the next seven years in prison, followed by five years probation, after accepting a plea deal for his role in a gang conspiracy case.
The New York Daily News reports that the 22-year old Brooklyn, New York rapper, born Acquille Pollard, pleaded guilty Friday, September 9, in Manhattan Supreme Court, just days before his trial was set to begin.
Shmurda has been in jail since December 17, 2014, when he was arrested along with 12 other members of his GS9 crew.
He faced charges of conspiracy, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
