Add another accolade to the resume of the one and only Beyonce Knowles-Carter.

The former Destiny Child’s star has just been named ”World’s Most Beautiful Woman” for 2012 by People Magazine.

Beyonce told the magazine that the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy Carter has made her feel more beautiful than ever.

“I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.”

Magazine senior editor Alexis Chiu told TODAY’s Matt Lauer and Ann Curry that Beyonce is “flawless, she’s gorgeous, she’s at the top of her game career-wise, she’s this music icon at 30 years old and on top of it she has this glow going on … She’s a new mom.”

Nike continues to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic Nike Air Force 1 sneaker. Here is now the latest release. Continuing the Pearl Collection that debuted earlier this year, this lux edition low-top includes a full-length vis air unit, highlighted with total orange color. The militaristic influenced upper is a canvas Vac-Tech construction, showcasing the shoe’s clean silhouette. Premium details include waxed laces, embossed leather tongue and heel tabs, and distinct cushioning. The traditional green/brown Army camo pattern is hiding from no one.

Designer and illustrator Nick Agin worked on a personal project, exploring the iconic Star Wars film characters. The outcome is a great series of illustrations, inspired by the style that old American presidents were drawn in. Included in the line-up are of course Vader, Yoda, 3-CPO and the Stormtrooper next to a few others.

Polish Champs cruised to second consecutive victory. One of the heroes of Wednesday showdown was Jerel Blassingame who finished with double-double 13 points and 11 dimes. See what J-Blass has got to say before trip to Zielona Gora.

Bartosz Pienkowski: Second straight win for us. You proved that Asseco Prokom is a very good team. How do you feel after these two games?
Jerel Blassingame: Every game is important, we are just trying to come out and win for ourselves. We have a lot of expectations as being the Champions, we have a tough season, but basketball is full of ups and downs, and we are just trying to get into the right rhythm and win the Polish title.

B. P.: Everybody is waiting for us in Polish league. Is it additional motivation for you?
J. B.: Of course, it is big motivation for us. Because the league is good and these guys are looking forward to challenging us in every game. We are just trying to execute on offense and defense and I think we will be ok.

B. P.: What do you think about your game? Yesterday you notched another double-double, are you happy with the way you play?
J. B.: It’s all about my teammates. If these guys get into the position to score, it’s my job to deliver them the ball, so whenever they are playing good, it’s easier for me to do my job.

B. P.: Very difficult game against Zielona Gora and their fans is ahead of you. How we got to play to extend the winning streak to three?
J. B.: They are very good team. They are executing well and we’ve been watching some games to prepare the plan how to stop them. It’s all about us at the end of the day. If we play our game, play consistent defense I don’t think there is anybody that can beat us.
